W2WAI.NET (pronuncia ui-tu-uai punto net) è il nome di un CampoBase dove NOI (in inglese WE, pronuncia ui) incontriamo PERSONE che, INSIEME A NOI (in inglese TOO, pronuncia tu, che suona come TWO, cioè 2), vogliono intraprendere iniziative improntate al RISPETTO RECIPROCO (in tailandese WAI, pronuncia uai). “REVISIONE 1.1 del 28/2/2009″

W2WAI: aiming to understand scope and objectives of a BaseCamp, between Web supported activites and territorial goals. W2WAI.NET (pron. we-to-why dot net) is the name of a BaseCamp where WE meet PEOPLE who, like US (i.e.: TOO, sounding as 2), are willing to embark in initiatives requiring MUTUAL RESPECT (as in Thailand’s greeting WAI, pron.: why). “REVISION 1.1 as of Feb 28, 2009″

REVISIONE 1.1 – Proporre incontri “faccia a faccia” (F2Fevents ?) tra culture e territori partendo da un Forum. Coinvolgere persone che non si conoscono ancora nell’organizzazione di eventi interculturali. Compiere un primo passo verso la capacità di assumere comportamenti collaborativi e proattivi. Questi comportamenti potranno dare il via al formarsi di nuove comunità e al loro insediamento sul Web, in modo alternativo e forse più efficace alla disponibilità di reti sociali tipo Facebook.

REVISION 1.1 – In FaceBook people hang around, engrossed in conversations, mostly aimless. Alternatively, one may envisage cultural and territorial “face to face” gatherings (F2Fevents ?), triggered by a Forum , where people get involved to discuss how to make the necessary arrangements. This first step aims to foster individual collaborative and proactive postures enabling new, Web based Communities, to emerge.

Il Web come lo conosciamo (ora lo chiamano Web 2.0) si è evoluto sotto la spinta (PUSH) dell’offerta di tecnologia; ci siamo dimenticati (ma i più neppure lo sanno) che il Web è stato inventato a Ginevra, dal Centro Europeo per la Ricerca Nucleare (CERN), per l’effetto trainante (PULL) della domanda degli Utenti dei servizi di gestione del Centro Elaborazione Dati.
